Aspen Fever

AspenThis is my 2011 registered solid paint-bred mare Aspen Fever.  In 2013, I purchased her from my mentor Rick Binger from Spotted Fever Ranch.  She was coming two years of age, wasn’t halter broke and had spent her life running wild on 300 acres in the San Luis Valley, Costilla County, Colorado.  Perfect for my first attempt at starting a horse who had never been handled.

Using the Downunder Horsemanship Method by Clinton Anderson, I started her and trained her myself.  She’s turned out better than expected and I presently share her with others who are looking for an equine experience.  She’s a great teacher and very patient with the inexperienced and experienced rider.  As a buckskin, she’s very flashy.  I receive a lot of compliments on her looks, training, and disposition.
